A certified translation is an official translation produced by a translator approved by a court or competent authority, certifying that the translated documents are legally compliant and authentic. This type of translation is often required for official documents, such as birth certificates, contracts, diplomas, court rulings or administrative documents, which must be validated in order to be recognised by the relevant authorities.
At A-N Trad, we can provide you with sworn translators in a wide range of languages, authorised to provide translations that comply with legal requirements. These translations are accompanied by a sworn statement confirming their accuracy. Depending on your needs, we can also offer to legalise or apostille the translated documents to ensure they are recognised worldwide.
Our certified translation services include:
Translations by sworn translators: our translators, approved by the competent authorities, are authorised to provide official translations that are considered valid by the authorities, courts and other public institutions.
• Translation of legal and official documents: we translate essential documents such as birth certificates, diplomas, contracts, court rulings and any other document requiring legal validity or international recognition.
• Legalisation of translated documents (on request): we can legalise translations on request. Legalisation involves obtaining an official stamp from a competent authority (often a notary or a chamber of commerce) to certify the authenticity of the sworn translator’s signature. This process is not necessary in all cases, but may be required for certain international administrative procedures.
• Apostille (on request): in some cases, it is also possible to obtain an apostille, an official seal under the Hague Convention. The apostille certifies the authenticity of a document so that it can be recognised internationally, for example for administrative or legal purposes abroad. We can help you with this process if your document requires it.
