From Normandy to the Grand Est region, and throughout France and worldwide, A-N Trad can help you with all your multilingual projects thanks to a network of 750 specialist linguists.
A-N Trad’s story began in 2011, in Rouen, under the name Agence Normandie Traduction. From the outset, the agency stood out for its commitment to bringing together a network of passionate Normandy linguists, all expert translators and/or interpreters in their field. Their mission: to offer precise, accurate, high-quality translations, while showcasing the broad diversity of languages.
The agency quickly specialised in technical fields, becoming a key partner for local companies in their drive to expand internationally. It plays an active role in Normandy’s economy, in particular by supporting companies with their export business through its expertise in technical translation and interpreting.
Over the years, the agency has grown rapidly, extending its reach well beyond Normandy. It boasts a network of more than 750 translation and interpreting professionals, carefully selected for their expertise in over 100 languages. This network enables it to meet a wide range of needs, from common languages to lesser-used languages such as Breton and Creole from Reunion Island, and African languages such as Bambara, Tigrinya and Amharic.
In 2025, the agency began a new chapter: Agence Normandie Traduction became A-N Trad and opened an office in Metz, close to the border with three other countries. This strategic move strengthens its presence in the Grand Est region, particularly in Moselle, and in Luxembourg, while consolidating its historic activities in Normandy. It also reflects the company’s determination to pursue its growth throughout France and internationally.
Today, A-N Trad continues to grow and to support companies with their international expansion, offering translation and interpreting solutions in a wide variety of fields: technical, legal, financial, medical, pharmaceutical, scientific, culture and tourism, as well as for all their marketing and communication materials.
As part of its commitment to always offer its clients the best, A-N Trad uses cutting-edge tools such as translation memories, personalised glossaries and terminology databases to guarantee consistent, high-quality translations. And for eligible projects, hybrid translation – combining technology and human expertise – optimises time frames while ensuring accurate results.

As part of our partnership, we routinely propose a standard non-disclosure agreement to establish a relationship of mutual trust.
For large and sensitive files, we offer an advanced encryption solution on request, guaranteeing maximum security when your data is sent.
Before collaborating, A-N Trad offers a free analysis of the source and target documents provided by its clients, in their original format, using translation memories to assess their quality. During the first assignment, clients are given the opportunity to submit reference documents in the source and target languages, enabling the creation of translation memories. This approach not only optimises the quality of future translations, but also enables us to develop a customised terminology glossary in collaboration with the client, while respecting the client’s style and language preferences right from this first phase of the process.

We select a translator who specialises in your field (legal, technical, marketing, etc.) and translates only into their native language, guaranteeing accuracy and relevance. For interpreting projects, we select a qualified and experienced interpreter with a thorough understanding of the specific terminology and cultural subtleties of the field. The choice is based on their expertise and knowledge of the particular cultural and linguistic nuances of the target language.

The translator completes the translation, taking care to respect the meaning, tone and style of the original, while adapting it to the language and cultural conventions of the target country. At the same time, for interpreting projects, our interpreter ensures that your messages are accurately conveyed in real time, taking into account contextual nuances, while guaranteeing seamless, natural communication with the audience.
Before delivery, each translation project undergoes meticulous quality control. This includes checking the layout and adapting it to the specific medium (documents, websites, etc.). When it comes to interpreting, we make sure that the service meets the client’s specifications.
The translation project is delivered on time and the interpreting assignment is carried out under the conditions agreed with the client. If necessary, a member of our team will contact you to discuss any adjustments or to finalise details based on your feedback.
After delivery, we remain available for any questions or requests for adjustments. Our aim is to guarantee your complete satisfaction by ensuring that the service we provide fully meets your expectations.
