Our philosophy and our commitments

A-N Trad is committed to protecting your personal data and endeavours to offer a high level of protection for your personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 and the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17.

As such, you will find our personal data protection policy below, explaining in particular what personal data we collect, how it is processed and on what legal basis, how it is stored, and your personal rights. We encourage you to read it.

Your data controller

A-N Trad is the data controller for your personal data.

Address: 4 rue Marconi, 57070 Metz.

It is referred to herein by its name or “We”/“Us”.

Your personal data and its collection by A-N Trad

Your personal data may be collected during:

  • your visit to our site,

  • our conversations,

  • our marketing activities,

  • the drafting or fulfilment of our contracts.

We do not collect any data that is not necessary for the purpose indicated at the time of collection, nor do we collect any data that is prohibited by law. The collection of certain data may be compulsory or optional. You will be informed which information is compulsory.

Your data may be collected by third-party service providers or partners, who undertake to comply with EU and national regulations.

It is our policy not to transfer data outside the European Union. If a transfer was required on an exceptional basis, the data would only be transferred to a country or organisation offering appropriate safeguards (art. 45 and 46 GDPR).

We do not make any automated decisions.

How we process your personal data

We process your data by adding it to our databases; it is stored, kept and, where necessary, rectified, deleted, archived, anonymised or pseudonymised, or transferred to trusted third parties.

Purpose of processing:

1. Informing you about our business and promotional offers – Communicating with you

Use for business marketing purposes: passing on information about our products/services, business offers, quotes, news by e-mail, post or telephone.

2. Fulfilment of your contracts and customer care

Use to fulfil contracts and keep track of orders, invoices, contractual documents, complaints, disputes and customer history.

3. Improving our services and offers

Use to optimise the user experience, improve our offers, track user journeys and carry out anonymous satisfaction surveys and gather statistics.

4. Your payments

Bank details are collected directly or via a service provider guaranteeing total confidentiality. They are only kept for as long as is necessary for the contractual relationship.

5. Protection against fraud

Data may be used to combat fraud, particularly payment fraud.

6. Compliance with the law and court rulings

Your data may be used to:

  • respond to a request from an administrative or judicial authority,

  • ensure compliance with our general terms and conditions,

  • protect our rights and prevent the risk of fraud.

The legal basis for processing your personal data

Processing is lawful if it is based on:

  • The fulfilment of a contract between you and us;

  • Our legitimate interest, provided it respects your fundamental rights;

  • A legal or regulatory obligation.

How your data is stored, and how long it is stored

We manage your data in three phases:

  1. Active phase: storage in an active database, accessible only to authorised individuals.

  2. Archiving phase: restricted storage for a limited time when legitimate.

  3. Deletion or anonymisation phase: destruction or definitive anonymisation.

Data is kept for as long as is necessary for processing, customer support and the fulfilment of contracts, within the limits set by law (accounting, tax, evidence, etc.).
